Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known as Bo on the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She teaches the art of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of going to rehearsals for plays. Silk made appearances in numerous commercials in her early years. In 1997, she earned the degree of bachelor's from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto on November 29, 1999, from Toronto to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. She met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at the workshop for actors at the time in Los Angeles in 2007. They were married civilly in December 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk had the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second baby born on May 13th, the 13th of May in 2016. Silk has several Television roles, such as Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Her nomination for a Gemini Award for this role in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans during the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show would return to production. Season Four premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN listed Bo's role as Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples ever. E! Magazine also claimed it as one of the top couples on TV in the year 2013.
